Every year, for over the last two decades, February has been the month when NASSCOM conducts its flagship Global event NASSCOM Technology & Leadership Forum. This year, the 29th edition of the three day event, popularly referred to as NTLF was a completely virtual fare, making it accessible to a wide range of people across the globe. We also had the privilege of having our Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi launching this edition with an opening address that called upon the technology industry in India to create institutions and solutions which will outlive this century. Apart from the many interesting and thought provoking sessions, we also launched two reports during the event. The first one was the 30th edition of our flagship report entitled “Technology Sector in India 2021- A New World: The Future is Virtual”. Like the past editions, this report is a comprehensive fact book of data, trends and insights of the technology industry in India. This year the report reflects on the technology sector’s resilient growth despite & during the pandemic and provides a glimpse of its growth trajectory over the next year.
The other study “A New Order Out of Chaos-Building a Future Ready Organisation” in partnership with Avasant, gives a voice-of-the customer perspective to decipher how buy-side enterprises organizational structure and business models are adapting to prepare a future-ready organization while maturing into a digital enterprise.
February also had the much awaited budget announcements which brought both cheer and tear to many faces. Do check NASSCOM Post-Budget recommendations to know more.
Last but certainly not the least, NASSCOM Insights team is finalizing the research agenda and themes for the next financial year and we would love to hear your suggestions on what could be the focus areas/themes.
