Important Update: Compliance with DoT Work From Home Relaxations

Blog: NASSCOM Official Blog

Dear Members,

As you are aware, the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) vide notification dated March 13, 2020 relaxed the conditions related to work from home  (WFH) for the entities registered as Other Service Providers (OSPs). Subsequently, the conditions were further relaxed by DoT pertaining to Static IP requirement vide notification dated April 15, 2020, to  facilitate WFH given the current situation.

The DoT is desirous to know the status of work from home being offered by the OSPs. In this regard, you are requested to submit your report to DoT field units / Term cells of your respective LSAs as per the format issued by Govt. on April 15, 2020 at the earliest, if not already done so.

In case you are facing any difficulty in compliance, kindly share details at deepak@nasscom.in, so that we may bring the same to DOT’s attention.
