COVID-19 has put all of us in quarantine. It is the time to remain vigilant as cybercriminals are leveraging the fear connected with this outbreak using COVID-19 themed phishing scams. According to Google report, there were 149,195 active phishing websites in January 2020. This number increased to 293,235 (50%) in February and 522,495 (350%) in March.
It shows how actively hackers are flooding phishing emails to get our sensitive information. Thus, we need to follow certain practices to keep ourselves safe and protected against phishing attempts.
