Why I Love TIBCO—India

Blog: The Tibco Blog

TIBCO Software is a great place to work, with intelligent, energetic employees who contribute to the success of the company and love what they do each day. We are back at it with another interview with a TIBCO employee all the way from India. Neeraj Vishnuvardhan, a portfolio manager based in the India office, share what helped him choose TIBCO, how he makes a difference, and more.

The TIBCO Blog: What does the TIBCO Global Services department look like for you, in your role?
Neeraj Vishnuvardhan: In my role, TIBCO Global Services expects me to lead teams, mentor people, and be a role model for other employees. As a senior member of the TGS leadership team, I am also expected to keep a tab on TIBCO’s goals and objectives and continuously strive to meet them.

TTB: How long have you been at TIBCO?
NV: I started my career with TIBCO in early 2007. After working for around 8 years, I moved out of TIBCO during late 2014 to pursue other goals. I rejoined TIBCO in late 2015.

TTB: How does your work impact TIBCO’s customers?
NV: Being a delivery unit, TGS continuously strives to deliver on time and with quality. This benefits our customers. I continuously work with my team members supporting our customer projects around technology, planning, and reporting. This helps our customers keep a tab on their projects and continuously derive value by engaging with us.

TTB: What was your biggest or toughest problem you’ve solved within the last year?
NV: Last year I had a fun ride leading solution teams on enterprise transformation projects. These projects were geared toward providing the necessary intelligence to the business units to take proactive actions that would benefit their businesses. The impact that these solutions made and continue to make for these customers is huge and being part of their transformation was a thrilling experience.

TTB: Why did you choose and why do you stay at TIBCO? What has been your career progression?
NV: TIBCO is a workplace that fosters innovation and teamwork. It has some of the best HR benefits in the region. I also get to work with a lot of intelligent minds and collaborate on interesting projects and opportunities. This has kept me going at TIBCO.

I started as a consultant in early 2007 and have played multiple roles since then. During these years I have been a senior architect helping build solutions for some of the marquee customers and also led product teams (Loyalty labs) in India. Currently I manage the TGS delivery unit for a broader set of financial services customers.

TTB: What advice do you have for someone who is interested in pursuing a career at TIBCO?
NV: Never say never. No work is small; no milestone is final. Continue to innovate and learn and accept changes that come along the way. In this fast changing world, being a lifelong learner, being flexible, accepting changes while having fun at the same time are the mantras for success.
