A very useful feature is the ability to have multiple layers tied to different data tables – I’ve used these to create theme-based maps. The geographic visualizations can also be fully scripted to create analytical work flows, and direct the user experience. Being able to add WMS layers is also a plus. Finally, any image can be used as a map, to create specialized interactive plots and diagrams.”
