ContractPodAi Releases New Legal Models for its Generative AI Suite

ContractPodAi—a generative AI and contract lifecycle management solutions provider for legal teams and law firms—has announced the availability of new legal models in Leah, its generative AI offering. These legally trained, domain-specific models were developed with Google Cloud’s AI tooling, expertise, and capabilities. They will provide customers the flexibility they need to create models for their company’s unique use cases. ContractPodAi also announced that its Leah suite is now available on Google Cloud.

EQT Private Equity to Acquire Avetta

EQT Private Equity, a global investment organization, has announced plans to acquire Avetta from Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe (“WCAS”). Avetta is a global supply chain risk management software designed to help companies manage supply chain risks across health, safety, sustainability, and other risk vectors. With the global footprint and sustainability expertise from EQT, Avetta will enhance its value proposition to clients and suppliers and continue to invest in innovations that address the critical challenges global supply chains face.

HCLTech Expands its Partnership with Google Cloud

HCLTech, a global technology company, has expanded its alliance with Google Cloud. As part of the partnership, HCLTech will use Gemini, its multimodal large language AI model, to create new industry solutions, drive additional business value, help engineers using Google Cloud’s latest GenAI technologies better support their clients, and develop new capabilities for HCLTech platforms, with an initial focus on providing AI technologies to manufacturing, telecom, and healthcare clients. HCLTech will also use the Gemini models to expand its portfolio of solutions built in its Cloud Native Labs and AI Labs.

Homebase Raises $60 Million in Series D Funding Round

Homebase—an “all-in-one” HR and team management application for small businesses—has raised $60 million in a Series D financing round. The funding was led by L Catterton Growth, with support from Emerson Collective. Existing investors Notable Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, Khosla Ventures, Cowboy Ventures, and PLUS Capital also contributed. Homebase will use the funding to support its ongoing R&D investments and fully integrated team management solution ecosystem, catering to traditionally underserved businesses.

iGrafx Announces the Early Access Release of Process360 Live Process Simulation

iGrafx, a process intelligence software provider, has launched its Process360 Live Process Simulation in early access. The cloud-based solution is integrated with iGrafx’s process mining and design capabilities and can help organizations accelerate their process optimization initiatives with tools for testing “what-if” hypotheses for potential process changes. It can also identify and measure a potential change’s impact, making it easier for companies to prioritize initiatives with the highest chance of positive ROI.

SAP Extends its Contract with Chief Technology Officer Juergen Mueller

SAP has extended its contract with Dr. Juergen Mueller, SAP SE’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO), for another three years. As CTO, Mueller will continue to lead SAP’s Technology and Innovation Board, prepare the company for accelerated cloud growth initiatives, and maintain its global security and compliance efforts. He will also be responsible for various architecture decisions and innovations across the SAP ecosystem. Mueller joined SAP in 2013 and has been a SAP SE executive board member since 2019.

SS&C Technologies Holdings has released its new SS&C Blue Prism Next Generation intelligent automation platform. With this hybrid-based release, SS&C is providing companies with the benefits of a cloud-based platform alongside support for industry security and compliance requirements that organizations in regulated industries must meet. The release has a drag-and-drop user interface for process design, centralized cloud-based storage, self-hosted digital workers, and a cloud-based control center that provides organizations with a “single pane of glass” for their entire operation.
