Day one of TIBCO NOW kicked off in Las Vegas with the question – what are you doing with the multitude of rich technologies available today to change the world? Our customers and partners got to explore innovation at the edge through interactive breakout sessions, a game-changing opening keynote, and hands-on demos at our new Technology Hub. Here, we recap some of the top highlights from this exciting start to the conference.
General Session: Limitless innovation
Innovation at the edge is taking on different forms over the next three days, with today’s theme centered around people, data, and technology. Technology is not meant to replace people. Tech augments people and all the work that they do. In the words of TIBCO COO Matt Quinn, we are humanizing information, not digitizing humans.
TIBCO NOW 2018 is all about how you build your own intelligence and give the right tools and data to empower your people. As TIBCO’s CMO Thomas Been explained during the opening keynote, TIBCO helps customers and businesses unlock their innovation potential. Businesses need to innovate to create value, lead, and stay ahead with the help of digital transformation.
“Be at the cutting edge of your market thanks to innovation,” said Been when referring to innovation at the edge.
