TIBCO NOW 2016 Begins with a Bang

Blog: The Tibco Blog

TIBCO NOW 2016 is off to a booming start! Our better-than-ever conference began yesterday, serving as a launch pad for organizations on the journey toward digital business transformation, bringing together thought leaders, customers, partners, and industry executives to collaborate on ways to evolve at the speed of innovation and fuel their strategy with greater insights of their customers, ecosystem, and processes. Attendees are buckled up for four days of exciting discussions, captivating presentations, and groundbreaking news.

The first of several exciting announcements hit the wire yesterday, describing the launch of TIBCO cloud services, a comprehensive toolset for enterprises leveraging the cloud in pursuit of digital transformation. With the massive growth in big data, cloud, Internet of Things, and mobile technologies, organizations must be equipped to quickly discover and leverage emerging business opportunities in our hyper-connected world. TIBCO provides the connective tissue for this type of digital business transformation through cloud services that enable DevOps-ready, container-based architectures and scalable, persuasive integration. Find out more here.

The fun began early yesterday morning, as dozens of attendees participated in a cycling tour of beautiful Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, led by Team TIBCO–SVB, the top women’s cycling team in North America. The 10-mile route showcased the beautiful sandstone peaks and walls of the Keystone Thrust. Riders chatted with the winning team and got their blood pumping to kick off TIBCO NOW. Catch the team in the Digital Hub during the conference to find out how they use data in their training to become TIBCO fast.

Later last night, attendees shut down their computers, turned off their phones, and met poolside at the MGM Grand Hotel to commence an exciting week at TIBCO NOW. There were hors d’oeuvres, drinks, music by TIBCO’s own Eric Chan, and mingling with TIBCO executives, fellow attendees, and thought leaders to get the event started.

Today, we get some mileage behind us on the journey to Destination: Digital. The morning session opens when ‘The Restless Genius’ Ray Kurzweil, author, inventor, futurist, rightful heir to Thomas Edison, and eighth rated entrepreneur in the United States, and TIBCO CEO Murray Rode hit the stage. CTO and EVP of Products and Technology Matt Quinn and EVP of Worldwide Sales Rajesh Verma join the lineup, all moderated by CMO Thomas Been. Be sure to get a front row seat for the compelling first day of presentations.

In addition, several TIBCO customers who have found success in digital business transformation share their stories with the TIBCO NOW audience. Carvoyant, ING Bank Turkey, CareFirst, and others join together for keynote presentations and a customer panel that are not to be missed. Speed into three tracks of breakout sessions: Digital Hub, Digital Journey, and Destination Digital, all beginning today and running through the end of the event.

Remember, the fun isn’t just in Las Vegas. If you’re not able to attend, join the conference virtually by tuning into the live stream of the keynote presentations. Don’t forget to get social and join the conversation using the hashtag #TIBCONOW from the conference or wherever you are!
