TIBCO continues to be recognized by industry analyst firms for its enterprise integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS), TIBCO Cloud
Integration—which has been named a ‘Leader’ in The Forrester Wave: Enterprise iPaaS, Q4 2021.
TIBCO credits its position as a leader to ongoing investments that provide customers with a great deal of choice in how they consume, build, extend, and deploy integration applications. A connected digital platform directly impacts business results; thus, TIBCO prioritizes the development of a modern, highly scalable, and flexible application architecture that enables rapid innovation and business resilience.
According to the Forrester report:
- “TIBCO supports its integration platform with additional products like data virtualization, an internal service mesh, and data governance.
- [TIBCO’s] product roadmap includes improving cloud-native architecture, moving API-led integration beyond REST, and harnessing AI/ML for operations.
- [TIBCO] offers the widest array of messaging brokering options in the Forrester Wave, including traditional message brokering plus streaming with Apache Kafka and Apache Pulsar. Its Flogo® runtime is lightweight and suitable for edge and function-as-a-service deployments.”
- TIBCO Software supports more connectors than most vendors evaluated and the ability to import OAS, WSDL, AsyncAPI, gRPC/ProtoBuf, or GraphQL files to generate a quick connector, plus strong API creation capabilities.”
TIBCO Recognized with the Highest Possible Scores in Five Criteria within the ‘Strategy’ Category
To assess the state of the enterprise iPaaS market and see how the vendors stack up against each other, Forrester evaluated both the strengths and weaknesses of the top 14 enterprise iPaaS vendors.
Forrester developed a comprehensive set of 27 evaluation criteria. To be considered vendors, among other inclusion criteria, companies had to have:
- “A wide breadth of integration functionality. The functionality included application and data integration, B2B integration, and API management capabilities (or connection to such capabilities).”
- “Mindshare among Forrester’s enterprise clients. These offerings appear in Forrester client inquiries, shortlists, consulting projects, and case studies.”
TIBCO Cloud Integration received the highest possible scores within the ‘Strategy’ category in the criteria of execution roadmap, planned enhancements, supporting products and services, pricing strategy, and partner ecosystem. TIBCO also received its highest scores within the ‘Current Offering’ category in the criteria of API/event stream creation and management, data integration, connectivity, B2B integration, message queueing, support of modern DevOps methods, security, and self-managed deployment.
What Does Its Position as a Leader in Enterprise iPaaS Mean to You?
For TIBCO, its position as a Leader in enterprise iPaaS confirms what customers—who rely on TIBCO Cloud Integration every day to run their business—already know. User confidence and validation are reflected in 2021 customer advocacy ratings from TrustRadius and G2Crowd, both of which name TIBCO Cloud Integration a leader.

An independent performance expert who conducted an in-depth analysis of TIBCO Cloud Integration found that, when compared side-to-side with selected competitors, it was 48 percent more cost effective than the competition to build integrations, and 50 percent more cost effective than the competition to deploy changes.
In addition, as stated in The Forrester Wave: Enterprise iPaaS, Q4 2021: “Reference clients said they were gaining value within days and noted TIBCO’s breadth of connectivity, ease of use for pro coders, and value for the price.”
In TIBCO’s view, the combination of client reference quotes, analyst recognition, and insights from an independent performance expert firm further positions TIBCO Cloud Integration as a cohesive platform for integration leaders that:
- Extends iPaaS capabilities and functionality to include both the IT domain as well as business users across the enterprise.
- Provides a cloud-native iPaaS that delivers high performance and scalability.
- Accelerates development of API-led and event-driven integrations.
