The first full day of TIBCO NOW was packed with an enthralling talk from Ray Kurzweil, informative keynotes, enlightening customer presentations, exciting announcements, educational breakout sessions, and fun! What part of today’s agenda are you most looking forward to?
We are excited to announce the recipients of this year’s annual Partner Excellence Awards. These awards recognized worldwide partners who use TIBCO technology to provide the marketplace and customer organizations around the globe with exemplary innovative solutions and services. TIBCO recognized Hewlett Packard Enterprise, HCL Technologies Ltd, Cognizant, and Behaim IT Solutions for offering exceptional service to TIBCO’s customers. Additionally, TIBCO announced a host of pivotal developments in our analytics offerings, including new data wrangling features in Spotfire, new code-free Operational Intelligence dashboards in LiveView, a new user-inspired developer community and component exchange, and a new Accelerator package for Apache Spark and the IoT. These advances, along with improved embedded BI support in Jaspersoft, and a host of industry awards signify both TIBCO’s unstoppable analytics momentum and its commitment to helping businesses successfully navigate their transformation into digital enterprises. Today, we journey to outer space with Adam Steltzner, award-winning rocket scientist and one of NASA’s most brilliant engineers, who led the team responsible for landing the Mars rover, Curiosity, on the Martian surface and controlling it from our planet. Additionally, CTO and EVP of Products and Technology Matt Quinn, Chief Analytics Officer Michael O’Connell, SVP of Analytics, Event Processing, and Strategic Enablement Mark Palmer, and SVP of Products, Analytics, and Events Brad Hopper, grace the TIBCO NOW stage.
This morning, five winners of the TIBCO Trailblazer awards will be recognized. The program recognizes the companies and people leveraging technology in revolutionary and enterprising ways, transforming IT into a strategic differentiator that fuels business growth and an outstanding customer experience. One nominated company from each of the five categories—Pioneer, Innovator, Impact, Visionary, and Transformer—will take home the hardware.
