Software AG and partners will be showcasing our top tech at the Smart IoT London 2016 exhibition
Blog: Software AG Blog - Reality Check
Software AG is proud to be a founding partner of the Smart IoT London 2016 exhibition, the largest and most influential gathering of Internet of Things expertise in the world, which will be held from 12-13 April. We will be exhibiting software demos and presentations from our T230 stand at the event, as well as a talk from myself, which will address what I call “total digitilsation”, and another from my colleague Bart Schouw, director of IoT solutions, in which he will explore “What makes a thing smart?”
Our partners at Cumulocity, Zementis and ServiceMax will also be joining us for a panel discussion, as well as at our stand, where they will be showcasing the remarkable advances achieved through our collaboration.
Cumulocity has been the leading independent Application Enablement and Device Management platform for IoT since 2010. Its open-platform solution provides a complete feature set for rapidly developing and deploying IoT solutions, with key features such as data collection and storage, real-time analytics, real-time visualisation and device management, and utilises an open UI framework which enables its partners and customers to configure and extend the platform to suit their unique needs.
The combined expertise of Cumulocity and Software AG allows the customer’s transformation to be anchored with the business, solving real business challenges and capturing opportunities, and allows benefits to be delivered where it matters most, to the end-customer.
As all economies around the world enter or continue their digital transformations, Cumulocity’s product offering and expertise allows these enterprises to connect, monitor and control their real world assets to launch new innovative services, significantly increase their business efficiency and continuously improve their customer’s experience. Cumulocity will be showcasing how companies, across all areas of the transformational spectrum, can find success in IoT.
Zementis enables smarter decisions in the context of big data and fast data for IoT. Its software products empower IoT to process data collected from devices with advanced analytics to detect failures, prevent outages and manage risk.
Together, Zementis and Software AG provide a unique platform that combines ultra-scalable streaming analytics with real-time predictive analytics, helping clients turn big data into bigger business value by enabling intelligent, automated, real-time decisions.
Zementis will be showcasing the simplicity of implementing practical solutions for IoT using sophisticated predictive analytics. They will also be engaging with attendees on how they can harness IoT data through advanced machine learning and ultimately deliver business value and enable new business models.
ServiceMax’s “Connected Field Service” allows companies to move from a reactive to a proactive service, by enabling them to collect data and insights about machine health, quality, usage and reliability and then use that intelligent data to proactively service and maintain equipment, bringing multiple benefits to both manufacturers and end-users.
ServiceMax works as a complementary solution to Software AG, enabling customers to transform field service and maintenance operations by combining multiple data sources such as IoT sensor gateways to deliver consistent, high quality performance through continuous prediction of current and future maintenance requirements.
At the exhibition, ServiceMax will be showcasing its technology and explaining why their customers are seeing huge value from IoT, as well highlighting the developing partnership between our two companies and presenting use cases from the industry verticals they operate in.
The Smart IoT London 2016 Exhibition will prove to be an exciting and informative event. We are proud to be involved, and we hope you will join us at our booth.
