Different technology suppliers and consultants use different terms: some talk of Robotic Process Automation (RPA), some talk of Robotic Desktop Automation (RDA). What we are seeing in our community, though, is that the level of interest and activity in creating ‘workforces’ of software robots that will automate routine tasks of many different kinds is already very high – and getting higher.
