Recognizing Innovation Everywhere: The TIBCO NOW Global Tour 2019 Customer Trailblazer Awards

As the 2019 TIBCO NOW Global Tour comes to a conclusion, we are proud to share our final group of TIBCO Trailblazer Award Winners. The theme of this year’s tour was Innovation Everywhere—a timely and apt theme, considering the companies recognized in all three cities of the global tour. Our customers from the UK and Europe are paving the road to digital transformation just as our winners from APAC and the Americas, and we are honored to be part of their journeys as they strive to be top innovators in their industries.
Each year, TIBCO awards the pioneers, the transformers, the visionaries, and the impactful digital businesses that are disrupting the market with their innovation. We are proud to announce this year’s European winners: Siemens Mobility, Campari Group, Three UK, and Renault.
Pioneer Award
Siemens Mobility received the Pioneer Award for its work in transportation solutions—an industry it has led for more than 160 years. Siemens Mobility’s open ecosystem Railigent® platform helps customers make intelligent use of rail data and allows operators to improve the return from their assets. In order to develop new use cases, Siemens Mobility uses TIBCO Spotfire as a tool for agile development of analytics use cases, integrating the solution with the Railigent application suite in the cloud. In doing so, Siemens Mobility has helped reduce costs and optimize operations for its customers.
Transformer Award
Campari Group received the Transformer Award for its portfolio of more than 50 premium and super-premium spirit and liquor brands that are marketed and distributed to over 190 countries globally. Campari Group used TIBCO Cloud Integration and TIBCO Cloud Mashery to establish the hybrid API-led cloud platform that transformed it into the digital business it is today. Campari Group’s digital transformation provided a number of positive business outcomes, including devoting a larger budget to innovative IT projects, faster, more predictable time-to-market for products, and API adoption by partners and customers that allow all to securely access company data.
Visionary Award
Three UK was given the Visionary Award for being one of the first mobile network and broadband operators to adopt a cloud-first strategy, in 2016. Using Microsoft Azure to move to the cloud, Three UK relies on TIBCO Cloud Integration products for a completely connected system. Utilizing TIBCO BusinessWorks, TIBCO Messaging, and TIBCO Cloud Mashery has allowed Three UK to reduce its time-to-market for new products and reduce IT costs across the company, as well as replace and condense its on-premises applications with cloud-based services supported by TIBCO.
Impact Award
French automobile manufacturer Renault received the Impact Award. The manufacturer operates in 127 countries with more than 30 vehicle models. Renault sought out TIBCO when it needed an enterprise-wide, agile solution to accommodate its growing business demands. The company is now more self-sufficient because it is able to analyze its own data and address data-related issues. TIBCO Spotfire is Renault’s tool of choice for data visualization, and it is used to support the data lake Renault implemented during its digital transformation.
