Multidisciplinary optimization of a plastic engine cover on OCI

Blog: Oracle BPM

This blog describes how we can efficiently take advantage of the high-performance computing (HPC) offering on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to run a multidisciplinary optimization involving several engineering software. In this use case, Optimus orchestrates the automation of FreeCAD, HyperMesh, Optistruct and Moldex3D on OCI. The required compute nodes are deployed on the fly thanks to the “HPC stack” packaged solution available on the Oracle Cloud Marketplace.
