Corporations around the world are discovering how to effectively leverage open source software (OSS) to address their toughest scalability, reliability, and technical requirements. As a result, communities of OSS business users have sprung up, jointly working on projects with significant impacts on their lives and the world around them. Connecting with the OSS community to stay on top of trends and projects is a necessity to understand how you can lower costs, embrace new trends, and not be locked into a single vendor. That’s why TIBCO has put together a virtual Open Source Community Day on April 30, 2020, run by our very own TIBCO LABS team who help TIBCO customers adopt emerging technologies to solve their toughest business problems.

This day-long virtual and interactive event will help you flex your OSS muscles with presentations from leaders in the field. You’ll hear from an OSS Cloud Architect from Microsoft on how to build a GitOps pipeline using Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Raspberry Pi, etc. A Machine Learning (ML) Tech Lead from Amazon Web Services (AWS) will show you how to automate your ML flows end-to-end using Kubeflow, ML Flow, as well as the ML frameworks SciKit Learn, PyTorch, and Tensorflow. A TIBCO Product Manager will show you how to use Angular.IO with a template from GitHub to combine case management and analytics in one mashup to create an application that responds automatically to your analytics results.

You’ll hear from a Senior Product Manager from GitLab on how GitLab is thinking about CI/CD as code to simplify building pipelines to just a few clicks while keeping it fully customizable. A Senior Developer Advocate from Google will talk about how to use Google APIs and Python to ease your application development. Then, hear from VMWARE about how to employ Continuous Verification to optimize both the development and deployment experience by looking at security, performance, and cost of your apps.

This event is free for anyone who wants to attend, whether you are a current open source developer or interested in joining the community. Register today. We’ve only shared a few of the highlights of all the conversations and sessions so please join us for more!
