Intelligence Leads the Way in 2018 Magic Quadrant for iBPMS
Blog: Bizagi Blog
Challenge the norm. That’s what we suggest. It’s also what we do. For the third year running, Bizagi has been recognized as a ‘Challenger’ by Gartner in the latest iBPMS (Intelligent Business Process Management Software) Magic Quadrant.
You can see for yourself in a complimentary copy of the full report, available here.
According to Gartner:
“Effectively, an iBPMS automates, orchestrates and choreographs business processes that shape themselves as they run. These processes can therefore be considered adaptive and intelligent — executing the best next action instead of the same repeatable sequence of actions. This requires a blend of contextual awareness, effective decision management, responsiveness to events and advanced analytics.”
We all know it has become imperative to embrace the latest technologies like IoT and RPA if you want to be a leader in your field. Bizagi can help by offering a wrap-around solution to legacy organizations. This means they can build on the intelligence they already possess – which is often trapped inside the organization – and enable pivotal change. This facilitates a different way of working for staff, a new experience for customers and a more effective way of doing business.
Intelligence is the key to digital business
Intelligence really is the critical element for delivering against these aspirations of efficiency and agility in a way that delivers results. With intelligence built in, organizations can continuously improve on the success over time using the analytics that only digital processes provide.
Success in the digital age demands this kind of actionable, advanced analytics to “more-intelligently orchestrate business operations across the virtual and physical worlds” by continuously generating insights from situational context using both historical and real-time information.
What we’re seeing in the market
Organizations developing a digital platform find it difficult to coordinate and automate interactions in real time with customers, suppliers and things (the Internet of Things). Delivering context in every interaction is key, without context there can be no intelligence and business opportunities will continue to be missed.
Existing transactional ERP and customer-focused platforms incorporate their own local process-centric tooling. This ensures process is locked in silos preventing global orchestration of people, data and devices.
Enterprises are looking to build visibility into business performance and dynamically reconfigure their processes as a direct result of business environmental factors.
Intelligence leads to agility
It’s clear to me from speaking to many of our customers, that the companies investing in process intelligence are already:
- Better placed to scale their digital technology platforms so that they can master emerging and strategic trends such as RPA and IoT.
- Able to shorten lead times on product and service delivery. Intelligent processes and rules will ensure one can automate and scale interactions with customers and suppliers alike, this will create a more dynamic feedback loop to ongoing product innovation.
- Empowered to pursue quick wins more readily which leads to faster adoption across the business as momentum builds.
