Have you heard of Mapbox, CartoDB or Stamen?
If not, there is one thing you should know and it is that they have something in common: they make b-e-a-utiful maps and now you you have the option to use them in your visualizations, anytime and anywhere.
Although Spotfire comes with preconfigured light and dark base map themes, not all maps are created equally and sometimes you need a different map to fit your use case or aesthetic. To ensure that you have an array of options, we have made it so you can use Tile Map Services and Web Map Services to gain finite control over the look and capability of your map.
