Bring your process compliance to the next level

In the ARIS 10 SR20 release, you will discover several features that will open a whole new universe for the analysis of your process compliance and risks.

  1. Process compliance: Combining conformance and rule checks to reach the next level

Process compliance analysis can help you to understand whether a certain process is working as it should, or if there are any deviations from the pre-determined process.

Although you already know all the insightful information process compliance analysis can offer, it falls often short when it comes to verifying structural and business rule compliance together.

You can already create your own rule checks and even include the conditions under which they should be applied. For example, when you define a certain process path in which an additional approval step must be followed for orders that exceed a given threshold.

Additionally, you are aware that clicking the compliance app in the ARIS Process Mining analysis area will take you directly to the compliance area.

Here is where the magic starts. Now, you have the option of viewing only conformance, only rules checks, or both. With a single click, you can quickly switch between them.

By selecting rule checks, you can see a summary of how your process behaves concerning the rules you have previously defined.

The various rules that you have created and pushed to your filters can be activated or deactivated.

But that’s not all; the process overlay can also use the already-created rule checks. So, we can easily determine whether there are any compliance issues in the model area thanks to this function.

Don’t wait any longer; begin developing your new rule checks today to find compliance problems and prevent legal trouble, liability issues, and reputational damage to your company.

2. A new Process Mining trigger that will automatically Risk & Compliance issues

When ARIS Process Mining discovers certain process conditions, “insight actions” enable issues to be triggered automatically. As soon as a certain process condition, such as a violation of process compliance, is discovered, compliance issues can be automatically created in ARIS Risk and Compliance.

Using the intuitive configuration in insight actions you can define the trigger, which system will be triggered, and the conditions based on which the trigger will be activated.

When the trigger is set off, all issues found will be loaded into your ARIS Risk and Compliance module along with details like the issue’s nature and relationship to the process, etc.

With these new features, we can close the loop and analyze your process from the compliance side in ARIS BPA, ARIS Process Mining, and ARIS Risk & Compliance demonstrating once more the full integration of all our modules in the ARIS suite.
