Attention Sales Hackers!

Blog: The Tibco Blog

Salespeople are some of the best job hackers around, and there are lots of tools out there to help them. What most of these lack, however, is the ability to bring together all the apps they use—CRM, spreadsheets, calendars, email, etc.—and create personal, automated workflows that cut out repetition and general job pain. TIBCO Simplr does just this, and projects like planning sales trips and updating stakeholders take a fraction of the time they do today.

Using forms and flows, it’s easy for anyone to create a project that can mirror and automate the way they work today. Take sales trips, for example. This two-minute demo shows how Dave in Sales automates setting up meetings for a trip to Dallas using flows that layer actions from Salesforce, Google Sheets, Simplr Forms, and Gmail.

Also, while Salesforce and other CRM systems are the systems of record, call sheets are like scratch pads. Instead of working all day in Salesforce, you might want to generate call sheets in Google Sheets or takes notes in Evernote, something you can automate in TIBCO Simplr. You can export new or existing lead or account data daily from your CRM.  At the end of the day or whenever, any updated notes or other information you need can be sent back to Salesforce.

To extend that workflow, Simplr also lets you set up notifications from SFDC (or whatever app you are working in) when they need to happen, like emailing your boss with new opportunities when they are created.

If you are a sales manager, getting reports from your employees when and how you want them can be a pain. You might want to receive lead or opportunity reports collated into a single master spreadsheet with separate tabs for each of your salespeople. Or maybe you want auto-generated emails to go out when your team is out of compliance in following up on leads, but setting all of this up in your CRM is more than you want to take on. TIBCO Simplr acts as your CRM admin and tech support surrogate, taking instruction from you.

The best part? You can get started today, for free. TIBCO Simplr is in Beta, with all the functionality we’ve described here and much, much more.

What tasks take the most time in your day? Let us know! We’d love to help you hack them.
