Appian World 2017: How to Accelerate Time to Market and Value to Your Patient

When you hear about the lifecycle of a product in the life sciences industry, your first thought may be the time it takes to get a new drug or device to market. The tests and trials in the lab, and the countless regulations that must be met and adhered to prior to introduction of the medicinal product to any consumer receiving the potentially life changing product are just a start to this process.
This year at Appian World 2017 in San Francisco April 3-5, we’ll be taking a closer look at this lifecycle along with several key stakeholders from successful life sciences companies throughout the globe.
Speakers include:
- Alexis Castillo-Soto, Head of IT Solutions for the UK Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency, he will provide the perspective of Digital Transformation at a regulatory health authority.
- Cinzia De Iorgi, Research and Development, Regulatory Affairs Demand Manager at Angelini will provide the Digital Transformation perspective of a pharmaceutical company.
The track will also feature a panel to include Alexis and Cinzia, who will then be joined by Gabrielle Monetti, Director of Enterprise Architecture for QuintilesIMS in Raleigh, North Carolina.
This talented panel will discuss and answer questions in regards to the challenges they’ve faced when it comes to digital transformation throughout their various product lifecycles, and how they’ve overcome them using Appian.
We’re looking forward to hearing the innovative ways they’ve leveraged technology and increased efficiency, while still keeping patient safety and satisfaction as their number one priority. In fact, the tools they’ve implemented have helped them better serve their patients, as they get the items they need to market faster, and thus into their patient’s hands faster, assisting them on their healthcare wellness journey.
