Appian Product Release – One Last Release for 2015

Agility is first a mindset, and second a commitment to the tools and processes that allow organizations to continually evolve business and the technology that drives it. Appian started our journey to becoming a truly agile organization several years ago.Today we feel we’ve mastered the art, delivering feature rich, high quality software at a regular, reliable pace.
The latest version of Appian 7 represents a shining example of this commitment to agile delivery. It also is the last release for 2015. Of course, we’ve saved the best for last.
First, Appian is doubling, tripling, and quadrupling down on the Appian SAIL user interface environment with a number of improvements to popular SAIL components like grids, tooltips, image controls, and overall greater design flexibility.
Appian SAIL interfaces can be used across a variety of environments, including Appian Tempo, Sites, virtually all mobile devices, and even embedded in any website. The last Appian 7 release of 2015 expands upon all these areas, allowing more controls and options across all user experiences.
This release also makes building SAIL interfaces easier than ever with the new Design View Navigation Tree. A quick visualization is now available showing the designer the entire path of UI decisions to easily navigate the flow of a user experience.
In addition, the rules behind the interfaces and processes that form your application are receiving a complete and embedded testing framework, making design and testing rules a snap.
And of course, there’s much more. We invite all Appian Forum members to join one of our three product announcement webinars. In these sessions, a detailed review of all features of 7.11 with meaningful demonstrations will be provided. Live Q&A will be available at the end of each session, so we encourage live attendance.
