SaaSとインフラだけクラウドにしたPrivate Cloudではまったく違います。もともとのOn-Premiseをクラウドのインフラに載せただけのPrivate Cloudだと、結局、相変わらずバージョンアップは数年に１回、何億円もかけて実施しなければならないのです。重いアップグレードを可能な限り先延ばしにするだけです。これでは、世の中の変化と要求のスピードに追随できません。引き続き技術的負債が蓄積されます。短期的なコスト削減にしかならず、アプリケーションはモダナイズはされていません。モダナイゼーションの先送り、責任の先延ばしをしているだけです。また、何かトラブルがあっても、AWSやAzureなどの対応に依存しますので、基盤面の解決・改善という観点はコントロールは難しいです。
