Visio Webcast: BPMN, Swimlanes, Flowcharts and SharePoint Workflows
The single most common use of Visio is to create flowcharts and Visio 2010 makes it easier, faster and more intuitive to do so. However, a flowchart is just one of the types of logic or process diagrams you can create with Visio. This seminar will begin by demonstrating some of the Visio 2010 features that make it so easy to create flowcharts: AutoConnect, QuickShapes, AutoAlign, AutoAdd and AutoDelete. Then you’ll learn about significant improvements in Visio swimlane diagrams and will see how the same rapid flowcharting techniques can also apply to swimlanes. Because flowcharts and swimlanes are only the beginning with Visio 2010, you will also learn how to create diagrams that conform to both the 1.2 and 2.0 versions of the Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) standard as well as how to create SharePoint workflows using Visio’s traditional drag and drop style.
