The acquisition will help Advantive continue its commitment to providing innovative solutions to the manufacturing and distribution markets. It will also expand Advantive’s capabilities and expertise across the assembly space, helping clients improve how they organize their manufacturing data, reduce costs, and prevent errors.
Cleo, a global integration software provider, has announced several new platform updates to help companies optimize their supply chain execution with improved control, automation, and visibility into the integrations that connect their ecosystem and back-office systems. The updates include improved usability for several connectors (i.e., eBay, Shopify, Amazon, etc.), updated integration deployment capabilities, advanced message search capability, a refreshed user interface for the platform integration development environment, a redesigned business process development experience, a workload prioritization solution, and more.
Coupa Software, a Business Spend Management (BSM) solution provider, has announced a new product to help companies improve supply assurance and business continuity. With the new Supply Chain Collaboration tool, Coupa’s clients can drive agility, transparency, and resiliency across their supply chains to ensure products and materials are where they’re needed most. The solution can also support better collaboration between teams and suppliers, maximize business agility, assess sourcing alternatives, and help organizations balance trade-offs.
Infosys, a digital services and consulting provider, has announced that it’s collaborating with Microsoft to jointly develop solutions that leverage Infosys Topaz, Azure OpenAI Service, and Azure Cognitive Services. The organizations will combine their respective artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities to create AI-enabled solutions that enhance enterprise functions across industries. These integration solutions will accelerate the democratization of data and intelligence, helping businesses drive new revenue growth and maximize their productivity.
Newgen Software, a unified digital transformation platform provider, has extended its partnership with Coforge Limited, a global digital services and solutions provider. The updated partnership will focus on delivering insurance lifecycle management solutions to companies across the US, UK, EMEA, and ANZ markets. By combining their industry expertise and technology functionalities, the companies will help insurers improve how they address complex business challenges, simplify processes, drive innovation, and identify new opportunities in their verticals.
SAP, a global enterprise application software provider, has announced Joule, a new natural-language generative AI copilot. Joule will be embedded across SAP’s cloud enterprise portfolio—including its HR, finance, procurement, customer experience, supply chain, and other offerings—to deliver proactive, contextualized insights from SAP and third-party sources. The generative AI tool quickly sorts data from multiple systems to surface meaningful insights. This allows employees to ask questions or frame problems in plain language and receive answers informed by the business data collected across the SAP portfolio.
SYSPRO, a global provider of industry-built ERP software, has launched SYSPRO 8 2023, the latest version of its platform. The new release includes over two dozen new capabilities and features, including enhanced warehouse functionalities, more quality control tools, seamless automation, enhanced security, and deeper predictive tools via SYSPRO’s Embedded Analytics offering. Other additions in SYSPRO 8 2023 include a new quality management solution, AP Invoice Automation, Single Sign-On (SSO) functionality, Warehouse Management System (WMS) Marshaling, and a new product catalog feature.
Tacton—a Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) SaaS partner to manufacturers—has announced two new features to help manufacturers streamline complex configurations and visualize solutions. The new tools—System Configuration and Layout Planning—are built to allow companies to split configuration challenges into smaller nodes and create a visual layout of equipment and systems while adjusting configurations without additional CAD software or engineering involvement. Users can also modify these tools to meet their specific needs and requirements.
Tray.io, an AI-powered iPaaS provider, has announced the Tray Universal Automation Cloud. With this new unified iPaaS solution, companies can speed up the time to integration by no longer needing to use disparate technologies to automate business processes. The Tray Universal Automation Cloud solution is built to connect systems and processes across an organization, simplifying the enterprise tech stack and removing the departmental barriers that can hinder digital transformation initiatives. It comes equipped with three AI-augmented experiences for users to choose from—Tray Code, Tray Build, and Tray Chat—so users can use an approach that works best for their needs.
UnitX, a robotics company developing AI vision systems that automate visual defect detection for manufacturing companies, has received a $5 million investment from SE Ventures, a Silicon Valley-based venture fund backed by Schneider Electric. The investment will help UnitX continue to expand its geographic presence, deliver value to manufacturing organizations on a larger scale, and accelerate its goal of elevating the quality management, profitability, and traceability of global manufacturing operations.
Workato, an AI-powered enterprise automation platform, has launched Workflow Apps, a new offering to help IT and business teams build workflow applications without writing code. Workflow Apps will also enable users to visually incorporate business logic into their workflows, improve visibility by unifying business applications under a single domain, automate processes, and optimize how they create, order, and manage each workflow stage.
