Capgemini Announces Several Leadership Appointments
Capgemini has announced several new leadership appointments. These include Anirban Bose succeeding Jim Bailey as CEO of the Americas Strategic Business Unit, effective November 1st, and Kartik Ramakrishnan as CEO of the Financial Services Strategic Business Unit. Jerome Simeon will also become Chief Revenue Officer, and Franck Greverie will assume the Chief Technology Officer role, effective January 1st, 2025. Finally, Olivier Sevillia, Chief Operating Officer, will depart the company at the end of 2024 after a 34-year-long career with Capgemini.
Celonis Debuts a Suite of AI Agent Tools and Integrations
Celonis—a process mining and intelligence solution provider—has announced details on AgentC, a new suite of AI agent tools, integrations, and partnerships. The suite was revealed at the company’s annual user conference and aims to help Celonis customers develop and use AI agents pre-built by partners. All the available AI agents will be powered by the Celonis Process Intelligence technology, which spans multiple systems and enables effective enterprise AI, intelligent orchestration, and “next-gen” cloud applications.
Epicor Acquires Acadia, a Connected Work Solution
Epicor, a global provider of industry-specific enterprise software, has acquired Acadia Software. This Connected Work solution provides frontline workers in manufacturing and other supply chain industries with real-time insights and step-by-step guidance. Epicor will integrate Acadia’s capabilities into its solution suite to provide customers with real-time data, task management tools, and digital work instructions that help frontline teams drive continuous improvement throughout their organization. Acadia will also provide users with tools for developing employee skills and supporting career progression.
Fixify Raises $25 Million in a Series A Funding Round
Fixify, an AI-powered IT help desk solution, has closed a $25 million Series A funding round. Costanoa Ventures, Decibel Partners, and Paladin Capital Group co-led the round, with additional participation from Scale Venture Partners. Fixify plans to use these funds to continue scaling its workforce, accelerate product development, and more. The company also announced that Mourad Yesayan, Managing Director at Paladin Capital Group, will join its board to provide strategic counsel on AI and cybersecurity.
iGrafx Details its New Generative AI Assistant
iGrafx, a process intelligence solution provider, has launched Pia, a new generative AI assistant designed to simplify process documentation, elevate operational efficiencies, and provide companies with a better way of leveraging their process data. Pia’s features include the ability to import and interpret Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), which help teams create accurate process diagrams, turn documents into dynamic visualizations of their operations, sync real-world processes with their digital counterparts, and generally improve their Digital Twin of an Organization (DTO) initiatives.
Laserfiche Reveals the New Features Available in Laserfiche 12
Laserfiche—an SaaS provider of intelligent content management and business process automation solutions—has announced Laserfiche 12, its newest software release. Laserfiche 12 will be generally available on November 6th, 2024, and offer self-hosted customers a collection of new and updated product features. These include more intuitive metadata management, enterprise identity management tools, consistent user experience configuration, better usability throughout the Laserfiche product suite, and additional training resources and certification opportunities for users.
My Office Apps Introduces a Vendor Relationship Management Feature to its Kechie ERP Solution
My Office Apps (MOA), a cloud-based ERP solution for manufacturing and distribution companies, has released a new Vendor Relationship Management (VRM) feature for Kechie ERP. The new feature aims to improve how companies interact with their vendors by streamlining collaboration, automating procurement processes, and managing vendor contracts and overall communication. For example, the specific additions include vendor-specific general ledger (GL) tracking, contract management, real-time performance monitoring, and supplier data management.
Planview Expands the Planview Hub Solution with New Integration Capabilities
Planview, an end-to-end platform for Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and Digital Product Development (DPD), has announced the latest innovations coming to its Planview Hub solution. One of the most significant additions to Planview Hub is Link Bridge, which supports the integration of other tools to provide users with real-time data synchronization between companies. Link Bridge will also help businesses connect with third-party suppliers, enhance their security and governance efforts, and maintain integration with the systems and programs used by OEMs or suppliers.
ServiceNow and Rimini Street Expand Their Partnership
ServiceNow, an AI platform for business transformation, and Rimini Street, an end-to-end enterprise software support provider, have announced an expanded partnership to develop an enterprise software model that helps organizations unlock additional value from their existing ERPs and enterprise applications. The joint solution will combine ServiceNow’s single architecture and data model with Rimini Street’s enterprise software support services, allowing companies to accelerate their customer innovation efforts across procurement, supply chain, finance, HR, IT, and customer service use cases.
SnapLogic Releases the SnapLogic Agent Creator
SnapLogic, a generative integration provider, has announced SnapLogic Agent Creator, a new system to help enterprises develop LLM-powered agents, assistants, and applications that augment human efforts and integrate AI technology into workflows or data pipelines. Its capabilities include dynamic task iteration, real-time access to external APIs that drive data-driven decisions, smarter knowledge management, intelligent reasoning powered by large language models, and flexible autonomy and control features that ensure the AI stays within defined parameters.
TrueCommerce Launches ReplenishAI
TrueCommerce—a global provider of supply chain and trading partner connectivity, integration, and omnichannel solutions—has launched ReplenishAI. This AI-powered solution uses AI algorithms to analyze historical sales, generate demand pattern clusters, and equip businesses with the insights they need to develop optimal replenishment strategies. It accomplishes this by taking product-level demand data over time and standardizing it, eliminating disruptive data spikes, and applying sophisticated algorithms to group products into profiles built around yearly demand trends.
UiPath Unveils its Plans to Focus on Agentic Automation
UiPath, an enterprise automation software company, has shared details on its new vision and strategic direction, which centers on agentic automation. As part of this initiative, UiPath announced a preview of Agent Builder, a new tool to help automation developers build, evaluate, and publish enterprise agents that work alongside robots on UiPath’s automation platform. Agent Builder will be part of the UiPath Studio suite, meaning developers can use Studio to develop and deploy workflows that work cooperatively with agents.
UiPath Integrates with Anthropic’s Large Language Model
UiPath also announced an integration with Anthropic’s large language model (LLM), Claude 3.5 Sonnet. The integration will deliver new AI features in three of UiPath’s products, including UiPath Autopilot, Clipboard AI, and a new medical record summarization solution that aims to help healthcare organizations utilize generative AI and enterprise automation. Graham Sheldon, Chief Product Officer at UiPath, says, “Our collaboration with Anthropic emphasizes our commitment to helping our customers leverage best-in-class LLMs and specialized AI within the UiPath Platform to tackle complex automations—ensuring accurate and trusted results every step of the way.”
Zoho Outlines its Plan to Leverage the NVIDIA NeMo Solution
Zoho Corporation, the global technology company, has announced its plans to leverage the NVIDIA AI accelerated computing platform, including the NVIDIA NeMo solution, which is part of NVIDIA’s Enterprise AI software. Zoho will use NVIDIA AI to build and deploy large language models (LLMs) for its SaaS applications. Additionally, Zoho will test the NVIDIA TensorRT-LLM to optimize its LLMs for deployment. Vishal Dhupar, Managing Director of Asia South at NVIDIA, says, “With NVIDIA’s AI software and accelerated computing platform, Zoho is building a broad range of models to help serve the diverse needs of its business customers.”
