Accenture Announces a $3 Billion Investment in its Data and AI Practices

Accenture has announced that it will make a $3 billion investment in its data and AI practices over the next three years. The investment will help clients across all industries advance and use emerging AI technologies to achieve more significant growth, efficiency, and resilience for their companies. The advancements to its Data & AI practice include new industry solutions and pre-built models to help clients drive value. Accenture will also double its AI talent to 80,000 people through additional hiring, acquisitions, and training programs as part of the investment.

Appian Strengthens its AI Roadmap with New Functionalities

Appian, a process automation solution provider, has announced details on its expanded strategy and roadmap for implementing generative AI into the Appian Platform. The announcement includes launching two new AI plug-ins to the Appian AppMarket: Appian Azure OpenAI Connected System and Appian Pinecone Connected System. These low-code plug-ins will help users connect to Azure’s OpenAI Service, combine generative AI with enterprise-grade data security, query Appian document knowledge bases, retrieve intelligent results based on the semantic meaning of their queries, and more.

Epicor, a global provider of industry-specific enterprise software, has appointed Vaibhav Vohra as its Chief Product and Technology Officer.
