Process HQ has process and data insights capabilities to help companies identify bottlenecks, build custom reports, and more. The updated Appian Platform also introduces several enhancements to Appian’s AI Copilot and generative AI capabilities.

Appian Signs a Strategic Collaboration Agreement with Amazon Web Services

Appian has signed a Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to make generative AI more accessible to enterprise business processes. As part of the agreement, Appian will find new ways to combine Appian’s native AI and data fabric with the large language models (LLMs) provided by Amazon Bedrock and the machine learning tools from Amazon SageMaker. This will allow Appian to host LLMs within customer compliance boundaries, customize those models,  and ensure that sensitive data remains secure.

BMC Signs Agreement to Acquire Netreo

BMC, an Autonomous Digital Enterprise solution provider, has announced its plans to acquire Netreo, an IT network and application observability software company. The acquisition will help BMC strengthen its position in the observability and AIOps field and provide its customers with deeper visibility into the performance of their networks, infrastructure, and applications, all from a modern, open observability platform. It will also enable BMC to expand its Helix platform with additional application and network management capabilities. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2024.

Certinia, a Services-as-a-Business platform provider, has unveiled the latest innovations in its Spring 2025 platform update. The new release introduces a collection of new and expanded capabilities designed to help service businesses boost productivity, improve decision-making, and generate more accurate forecasts. Those capabilities include enhancements to Certinia’s work planner tool, updated resource request features, and improved estimation functionalities, alongside new features for automated billing event splits, flexible cash matching, vendor invoice approvals, and bank statement imports.

Deltek Announces Dela, a Suite of AI-Powered Technologies

Deltek, a global solution provider for project-based businesses, has launched Dela, a new AI-powered business companion. Dela is a suite of AI-powered technologies built into Deltek’s solution portfolio, allowing customers to generate smart content, automate simple tasks, find information faster, and predict potential project performance. For example, Deltek’s GovWin IQ and Vantagepoint solutions already use Dela’s smart content capabilities, while the Costpoint platform currently uses its generative AI functionalities. Pegasystems, an enterprise AI decisioning and workflow automation platform provider, has announced the general availability of Pega Infinity 24.1, the latest release of its product suite.
