Together Let’s #PressForProgress

Blog: Capgemini CTO Blog

Author: Isabelle Roux-Chenu

Gender balance has always been at the heart of our efforts at Capgemini and for years we have been encouraging every member of our Group to take steps, big or small, to achieve this goal. We have succeeded to an extent and have come a long way, but we believe that there is a lot more to be done, to challenge and to grow.

This year’s theme for International Women’s Day, 2018 is #PressForProgress, which calls for “all of us to come together as a community to think, act and be more gender inclusive.”

We have many regional and global initiatives that facilitate and encourage women at Capgemini to thrive in the career of their choice. We have also received external recognitions for our achievements such as the EDGE certification in seven significant countries in which we operate.

We have also created a platform, Les Rencontres du Digital, for women in digital to come together and exchange best practices and expertise. This event was held across geographies and had an equal representation of men and women participants and speakers.

In celebration of #IWD18 we call for women and men at Capgemini to #PressForProgress in whatever way they can. We also encourage them to share their stories and views to achieve gender equality. Our aim is to inspire everyone around the world to join this movement and voice out how you would like to #PressForProgress.

Each region will be celebrating International Women’s Day in its unique style today. Follow #WomenAtCapgemini hashtag to view some interesting blogs, videos, stories, pictures, etc. and join the conversation.
