We’re proud to announce that Gartner has again named our tibbr enterprise social networking platform a leader in the Magic Quadrant for Social Software in the Workplace1 for the third year in a row. Read the press release here.
Strengths noted in the Magic Quadrant are tibbr’s comprehensive platform and its broad integration capabilities.
On the integration front, tibbr’s ability to deeply integrate other sources/applications and robust APIs is what TIBCO believes is a major part of what makes it a leader in the Magic Quadrant. These include Microsoft SharePoint, Box, WebEx, Skype, Google Hangouts, and dozens more.
tibbr’s platform differentiators, like its subject hierarchy, also make it stand out from the competition. Rather than having a flat alphabetical subject structure, tibbr’s hierarchical structure makes it easy to discover subjects of interest. Also, private subjects are hidden in tibbr, whereas in some other ESNs, the subjects of private posts can be seen. This is important to companies in regulated markets where you are not allowed to discuss certain customers/projects in a public area, even if it’s in an ESN.
Regarding mobility, tibbr’s app has a very solid approach, including user experience, breadth of functionality including app integration, native and HTML 5 versions.
