TIBCO Spotfire® Ties for First Place in Dresner Location Analytics Market Study

We are thrilled to announce that TIBCO Spotfire® has been recognized as a leader in location intelligence in the 2018 Dresner Location Intelligence Market Study. Spotfire tied for first place in the fifth annual report, which is part of Dresner Advisory’s Wisdom of Crowds® research series.
The study compared geoanalytic product features of 16 vendors including geocoding support, location intelligence capabilities, third-party GIS integration, and mobile location intelligence, as well as how their products support industry requirements for geoanalysis.
This is the third year running that Spotfire has been recognized in this study, with its innovative geocoding support, integration, and location features key to its high ranking this year. “By harnessing the power of our Spotfire® location analytics tools, organizations can utilize detailed multi-layered maps, GeoCoding tools, and advanced geo-processing capabilities to draw real-world insights on the relationship between data and location,” said Michael O’Connell, chief analytics officer, TIBCO.
TIBCO Spotfire delivers comprehensive location analytics to help users understand data in greater detail. By bringing real-world context to analyses, its maps uniquely generate insights and make predictions that would not be possible using traditional tables and charts.
As Dresner notes in the report, “Two-thirds of respondents consider location intelligence “critically important” or “very important.”
