TIBCO Receives a 2021 Tech Cares Award from TrustRadius for Demonstrating Exceptional Social Responsibility

This year’s TrustRadius Tech Cares Award recognizes technology organizations that have gone above and beyond in 2021 to support employees and communities during and beyond the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, the company expanded its Tech Cares nomination to celebrate companies that show their social responsibility across the board.

An Unswerving Commitment to Enabling a Vibrant Culture of Belonging

TIBCO has a strong ongoing commitment to creating a safe space where everyone can share their experiences, thoughts, and feelings and celebrate what makes each one of us unique. In the last year alone, TIBCO has designed and launched three Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to ensure colleagues know they can bring all they are to work, whether in the office or virtually.

These ERGs include BLADE (Blacks, Latinos, and Allies Driving Equity), PRIDE, and WISE (Women, Inclusion, Success, and Equity). In partnership with these groups, TIBCO has supported more than 75 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs and events that celebrate the history and heritage of our team members.

We donate software, training, expertise, and strategic guidance to approved partner organizations and communities through this program. One TIBCO4Good initiative is the TIBCO GatherSmart solution, an analytics-rich symptom tracker app free to companies with less than 50 employees.

From the time the pandemic began, TIBCO prioritized the health and safety of our team members. When we transitioned in 2020 to a remote work model, our company culture not only survived but thrived. Setting and Meeting Goals for Environmental Sustainability

When TIBCO began measuring its carbon footprint in 2019, it established goals to reduce its data center power and cooling consumption. In 2020, this initiative helped us achieve a 17 percent reduction over 2019. The company also sends 100 percent of decommissioned hardware assets to certified sustainable recycling partners.

For 2021, TIBCO has increased its commitment to reducing its greenhouse gas emissions through continued data center optimization, use of office space, and tracking its global travel. In addition, TIBCO is committed to:

Operating its facilities in a manner that minimizes harmful environmental impacts and ensuring that supply chain members and other stakeholders understand our commitment to environmentally responsible conduct
Educating team members on how to prioritize waste reduction and recycling and perform their duties in a way that minimizes pollution and conserves resources
