Talking Engagement with Our Customers in Chicago

What a week we had in Chicago at our customer conference last week! And that followed a stellar Engage global kick-off event in Sydney in May.

I’m always thrilled to visit with our customers to see how they are using Verint solutions to enrich their constantly evolving relationships with their customers. No two days are the same.Chicago_Skyline_with_Fountains_resized.png

Many of you likely saw our activities on Twitter—there was a lot going on! Here’s a quick rundown on the conference for you. We hosted Engage™ 2016 for more than 1,200 attendees from over 15 countries around the world at the Chicago Hilton—our global (and largest) customer conference of the year.

I’m pleased to report we also joined forces with our Verint colleagues in our Video and Situation Intelligence business line—demonstrating to our customers our ongoing commitment to expanding the ways we can help them meet their needs for actionable intelligence—whether for customer engagement or security purposes.

We also conducted an Executive Summit, which gathered key customer decision makers who shared best practices and ideas with each other.

They also gave us highly valuable insights that will help us continue to best serve our customers in the ways they need us to.

Speaking of our customers, I see a bright future ahead. Four themes jump out when I think about our customers: They are optimistic about what’s on the horizon, they understand that digital is here to stay, they know that self-service is growing, and—as they experience every day—expectations have never been higher. (And they show no signs of slowing down.)

We love hearing from our customers, so it was a pleasure to have three of them participate in a keynote panel discussion that included Atento, Carenet Healthcare Services and Pivotal Home Solutions. They discussed how they are adapting to the rapidly changing world of customer engagement—and how Verint solutions are helping them excel. They offered an inside look and perspectives that provided insightful ideas to other organizations.

A theme running throughout our time in Chicago was customer engagement and a commitment to customer success. Keynote speaker Molly Fletcher—hailed as the “female Jerry Maguire” by CNN—spoke energetically and memorably about creating transformational change to unleash true potential. That’s what we strive to do each day—give our customers what they need today and help them prepare for tomorrow and beyond.

It truly was a great week in Chicago—and this week Engage Japan is getting underway. Other upcoming events the second half of the year include Engage Europe in the Netherlands in November and Engage UK in December.

We thank each and every customer who took the time to join us in Chicago this year—even the weather was beautiful all week!  We look forward to seeing more of our customers at our upcoming Engage events around the world.
