Taking the Proactive Approach in Defense: Appian for Incident and Crisis Management

Blog: Appian Insight

After a four-year absence, it’s back, the Air Force Information Technology & Cyberpower Conference. This year’s conference is being held in Montgomery, Alabama and the theme is: America Living Free, Secure, And Productive In A Cyber World.

I joined Appian to head up our DOD team this past April and am very excited to attend this event, as this theme is more poignant than ever.

Incident and Crisis Management

In today’s global political climate, all government agencies, especially those within the Department of Defense, need instant access to tools that allow for rapid coordination and immediate response in the chance there is an incident that needs fast action. With Appian, data from multiple sources can be aggregated quickly with actions being prioritized and triaged through multiple chains of command.

Even minor incidents within the government that need to be ready for activation at a moment’s notice are no challenge for Appian’s business process management solutions.

Appian outlines our government incident and crisis management response here, and I’d love to speak with you more about it at the conference next week in Montgomery. Send me over an email at Elaine.Wilde@Appian.com, or stop by our booth #445 and I’ll give you a $5 Starbucks gift card when you mention you read this blog post.

Looking forward to seeing you all in Alabama!
