DESCRIPTION

To increase the value of business analysis and the success of projects we need to utilize the right techniques for each situation. As business analysts it is our responsibility to engage our stakeholders effectively to ensure that all of the appropriate stakeholders are involved and the requirements are elicited, analyzed and presented using the most effective strategies. In this webinar you will be provided an approach to ensure that you use the requirements elicitation and presentation techniques that work for your stakeholders. This webinar teaches students to consider all stakeholder characteristics, as well as their own communication style, before deciding on the most effective analytical technique to engage the stakeholders. One size does not fit all. This session expands on a chapter, Know Your Audience, in Barbara Carkenord’s book, Seven Steps to Mastering Business Analysis. Students will be able to download a Stakeholder Checklist and Stakeholder Worksheet templates to help identify stakeholder characteristics and develop the appropriate elicitation and communication strategy for each stakeholder group.
