With the release of APEX 23.2, the low-code platform started offering a first step towards a full Process Automation solution with APEX Workflow and thus closing a gap in the Low Code Application Platform space. Flows for APEX, an open-source implementation of the ISO standard BPMN 2.0 is another solution in APEX and by now is adopted by many APEX customers. This blog post briefly compares the two available Process Automation Options and guides the customer on when to use which implementation.
