Blog: For Practitioners by Practitioners!

During DecisionCAMP-2025, we conducted the poll “Using LLM-based tools in the Decision Intelligence Context“. This poll pertained solely to Operational Repetitive Business Decisions. It contained 13 questions about the use of LLMs for the various decision automation tasks. Here are the strongest choices (with more than 45%):

Already Use:

  • Discovery of business concepts, decision variables, and relationships between them
  • Generation of decisioning logic in the form of business rules and decision tables oriented to business analysts
  • Generation of decisioning logic in the form of executable code oriented to software developers
  • Generation of code snippets used for the implementation of small logical parts and their subsequent inclusion in a decision model
  • Conversion of the decision output, including explanations, into a more friendly business format

Plan to use:

  • Deploying traditional decision services as AI Agents
  • Using MCP (Model Context Protocol)
  • Automatic Invocation of AI Agents

Will not use:

  • Generation of a ready-to-be-executed decision model capable of producing business decisions “without a man in the loop”
