Meet TIBCO’s New EVP of Global Sales: Steve Hurn

Blog: The Tibco Blog

We’re thrilled to announce the promotion of Steve Hurn to executive vice president, global sales. Steve will spearhead TIBCO’s global sales organization, including regional sales, global pre-sales, high-velocity sales, and partner sales. Steve and his team are part of the office of the CEO and will continue to report to TIBCO’s chief executive officer, Murray Rode.

Steve joined TIBCO as head of EMEA sales back in 2015 and, after only a little over a year, was promoted to senior vice president. Steve, a sales tech vet, has held senior roles at other well-known software companies like SAP and Oracle and also served as CEO at various startups. His experience in sales and tech is unmatched in the industry.

In his time with TIBCO, Steve has led the company through a period of consistent growth as the company makes the pivotal transition to more subscription and cloud-based solutions.

We asked Steve to give us a few words on his vision for leading sales at TIBCO:

“We’re getting to a point in the technology world where innovation and movement to the cloud is necessary in order for business to stay relevant,” said Hurn. “Working with my team, it’s my responsibility to support our existing and prospective customers to digitally transform the way they do business, enabling them to strengthen their competitive advantage, optimize operational efficiency, and improve the customer experience…I am honored to be a part of a company that helps companies reach their full potential by arming them enhanced integration and analytics tools to take their organizations to the next level.”
