MAIF Wins a TIBCO Trailblazer “Impact” Award

On October 13, at the TIBCO NOW Tour event in Paris, MAIF, a member-owned French insurance company, was honored with the 2015 TIBCO Trailblazer “Impact” Award. The TIBCO Trailblazer Awards recognize individuals and companies who are accomplishing substantial business results using TIBCO technology, demonstrating ingenuity and thought leadership in meeting the demands of the digital consumer.
MAIF, a provider of insurance services for the home, automotive, and health markets, was recognized as a TIBCO Trailblazer for leveraging the TIBCO Fast Data platform to revolutionize its IT strategy, facilitate operational excellence, increase competitiveness, and deliver a superior member experience.
Accepting the award was Benoit Louis, middleware consultant support manager at MAIF. “MAIF has been doing business in France since 1934,” says Mr. Louis. “For the last 11 years, MAIF has won awards for ‘the best insurance company for customer relationships,’ and we want to retain that title.”
To continue this leadership position, the insurer revolutionized its IT architecture with TIBCO. The new, agile, integrated infrastructure has enabled faster delivery of a wider range of high-quality member services through all communication channels and simplified and improved the partner experience.
“TIBCO’s integration platform has helped us to open up our data center, deliver the same quality of services across all channels for members, partners, and employees, and ensure that 100% of all estimates produced across channels are the same,” adds Louis.
Mr. Louis explains that the future MAIF-TIBCO partnership “will enable us to explore new opportunities with our partners and expand into new digital channels to deliver excellent member service.” As a TIBCO Trailblazer Award winner, MAIF will become a featured TIBCO reference customer with a new video testimonial and case study to be launched in late 2015.
