Leading BPM – Agenda of 2014 BPinPM.net Conference revealed!
In a growing number of organizations, focus of BPM is moving towards leadership oriented topics to increase acceptance and benefit of process management systems. Basics like process modeling and compliance management are already quite mature and widely discussed. Thus, we are going to put the motto “Leading BPM” into reality and will pay attention to upcoming areas such as “real” BPM training (not system training) for employees and management, change management aspects, and activities to strengthen acceptance of BPM systems.
To facilitate these topics, we joined forces with BPM experts from business areas like engineering, finance, aerospace, social sector, and chemical industry to perform a number of workshops to identify best practices. Combined with latest insights from scientific world and practical examples, results of the workshops will be presented at the 2014 BPinPM.net Process Management Conference on Nov 24/25 at Lufthansa Training & Conference Center Seeheim in the area of Frankfurt, Germany.
In addition, we will focus on future-oriented BPM topics and present detailed results of our “Digital Age BPM” workshop series which we have performed in cooperation with digital leadership expert Willms Buhse and his doubleYUU team. In a group of five organizations from various sectors, we experimented with bringing BPM and digital age aspects such as social media, web 2.0, agile management, and mobile devices together. Results are quite fascinating and will be presented on day two of the conference.
For the first time ever, we will give the BPM2thePeople Award to an organization form social or education sector for its achievements in applying BPM methods. Read more about the award on its website: http://www.BPM2thePeople.org
For sure, the conference will also offer enough space for knowledge exchange with other BPM experts. And especially for a facilitated networking, we will offer several speed dating sessions during the breaks.
Finally, Samsung will support us with latest mobile devices to continue our paperless conference approach and to enable live polls and digital networking. Many thanks to Samsung!
PS: Currently, we are offering an early bird discount of 10 percent!
Again, this will be a local conference in Germany, but if enough non-German-speaking experts are interested, we will think about ways to share the know-how with the international BPinPM.net community as well. Please feel free to contact the team.
