Huge Pages are important component of storing System Global Area (SGA) of Oracle Database. Exadata being a Consolidation Platform run multiple Oracle Databases with hundreds of Gigabytes of System Memory. Exadata systems need to be configured properly to ensure SGA for each database resides in Huge Pages.
