Generative AI and the use of Large Language Models (LLM's) have made it into the life of many people. For the developer, LLM's are trained to understand programming languages and technologies. The idea is to enable peer programming where the peer is a Generative AI system that assists the developer. This article explores Generative AI capabilities for Oracle APEX. Given a descriptive text, the "AI Assistant" comes up with a SQL statement that offers a result the developer was asking for.
