As the more than 100 year old First Citizens Bank grew, a standardized integration platform became crucial for improving service delivery, simplifying IT infrastructure, and creating new services across channels including mobile, web, and branch. Implementing a combination of TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks, TIBCO Enterprise Message Service, and TIBCO ActiveSpaces, First Citizens Bank saw immediate results from accelerated time to market of new services and an uptick in customer service satisfaction.
“Our requirement for our Transformation Project was to shift from a homegrown system to a mature, standardized platform,” said Dan Hudson, manager of systems integration architecture at First Citizens Bank. “Our customers and business partners saw that in a day we had the software up and running real-time services in our development environment. It was so fast and clean that we were able to get to market faster, and we already see that reflected in customer satisfaction.”
