Engage 2015 Kicks Off as Verint Customers Convene for This Week’s Global Customer Conference

Customers and partners have gathered from around the world for the Verint® Engage 2015 global customer conference at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel in Nevada.Paris Hotel at night_resized for blog

This week, attendees representing 15 countries and more than 20 industries are taking part in keynotes, breakout sessions, interactive workshops and panels that span eight tracks—including enriching interactions, improving processes, optimizing the workforce, understanding the technology, trends and strategies, from analytics to action, from vision to execution, and government and public sector—as well as a host of networking activities and events.

To welcome attendees, the June 8 opening reception provided a preview into the week’s activities, an update on Verint’s Customer Experience program, and insights into how organizations today can transform customer engagement. The opening session also highlighted the 2015 Engage Global Customer Awards, which will be featured in a future blog.

Then, this morning, the event kicked off with the keynote address “Customer Engagement Optimization: The New Frontier.” This session explored top trends in customer engagement and customer relationship management, and how they’re shaping organizational changes—based on today’s new breed of consumer, evolving employee expectations, and how customer service is everyone’s responsibility.

The general session that followed featured internationally recognized graffiti artist and entrepreneur Erik Wahl—author of Unthink and Founder of The Wahl Group—who challenged attendees to break free from business as usual, and to look for ways to be disruptive and create moments of engagement. Wahl demonstrated how out-of-the-box thinking can help individuals unlock their untapped creativity and potential, and then apply it to help enhance performance, customer and employee engagement, and more.

An additional highlight today and tomorrow includes the Customer Experience Zone. As Verint continues to further evolve its own customer journey map, customers are invited—and encouraged—to take part this week by sharing their input. This feedback will be incorporated to enhance the entire customer journey.

Throughout the conference, Verint and event sponsors also will be demonstrating their solutions in the popular Solutions Lounge, which serves as the venue for tonight’s Technology Showcase. There, attendees can network, exchange ideas and practices, and view the latest in technology and innovation in a relaxed, social setting. Among the solutions being featured will be the cutting-edge advancements to Verint Speech Analytics™, as announced earlier today. Read more.
