With the theme Digital Smarter, TIBCO NOW in Berlin will take digital transformation—a top priority for many businesses—one step further. Very important elements of the conference are the customers who will be sharing their transformation experiences and results. There’s still time to register for the Berlin, June 6‒7 event. Here’s a preview of the customers who will be presenting:
CUSTOMER KEYNOTES
Matt Harris, Head of IT, Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport
Matt Harris is responsible for technology support for Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport, the works Formula One team of Mercedes-Benz, based in Brackley, UK. Matt has worked at the team since 1998 and during his time there has won four FIA Formula One World Constructors’ Championships, including “The Triple” from 2014 – 2016. He holds various ITIL qualifications, is an FA qualified football coach, and manages his local under 11s football team.
Erwan Vezin, VP Enterprise Architecture, AccorHotels
Erwan Vezin is responsible for enterprise architecture for AccorHotels where he focuses on business requirements definition and the design of lasting IT solutions to accommodate both current and future requirements. Prior to this role, he spent 10 years at Accenture where he contributed to a large transformation program for the retail banking industry and led IT architecture design and implementation.
Hans Tönissen, Program and Domain Architect, Nederlandse Spoorwegen
Hans Tonissen leads the IT architecture team responsible for innovating and renewing the support and comfort IT functions for the company’s rolling stock. Before joining Dutch Railways, he was enterprise architect for Aegon, a global provider of pensions, insurance, and asset management, and held similar positions at other large companies. He studied Chemistry and Informatics, but learned business and IT architecture on the job. His motto: Always think from the customer’s point of view, keep architecture simple, think platform, use smart technology, and look ahead, but stay pragmatic. Besides his regular work, Hans is an international beer sommelier.
Wim Liet, IT Manager, Nederlandse Spoonwegen
As IT and program manager, Wim Liet is responsible for all IT systems supporting train travel information, and for the development and maintenance of several new information functions for “comfort IT” train systems. These include WI-FI, entertainment, real-time occupancy information for passengers, and real-time sensor data for maintenance departments. After receiving an Economics degree and holding several freelance positions, he became Dutch Railway’s first management trainee and was quickly promoted. Until now, his most remarkable accomplishment was the the Railpocket, an innovative handheld device for train staff. In his spare time, Wim plays soccer, and is referee and treasurer of his soccer club.
