1. CoE DS&AI and PMI collaborate on creating new framework for the DS&AI projects
Increased automation of jobs driven by Artificial intelligence has created a sense of insecurity amongst the Project Management professionals. Additionally, the lack of standardization of Project Management practice in DS & AI projects has posed a challenge for organizations across the world.
To address this concern, CoE DS & AI and PMI have partnered to create a playbook which will provide a perspective on how tasks are being prioritized and optimized by project managers. This playbook will also recommend a best fit approach that will add structure and efficiency. Moreover, it will also help in identifying what aspects of project management are being increasingly replaced by automation/AI, thereby providing insights into technology-aided project management framework relevant to Industry 4.0.
The playbook will be launched in August 2020.
2. CoE DS&AI and NetwrkAI collaborate to co-innovate Enterprise-Startup connect
The proliferation of innovators and new age start-ups has created a paradigm shift in engagement models within IT industry. Notwithstanding their ambition, there remain often certain gaps with respect to readiness and marketability of the products, value proposition and scalability of the startups.
Meanwhile, many enterprises with defined requirements and necessary budgets have been looking to go beyond their in-house teams to source best fit solutions. This has created an opportunity to bring together these interested parties from a demand-supply fitment perspective through a technology aided platform.
Existing enterprise-start-up platforms have a passive approach towards solving problems related to piecemeal engagements, requirement mismatch, lack of trust emanating from ‘crowd-sourcing’ models and pay-out negotiations.
In this regard CoE DS&AI partnered with NetwrkAI under the Co-Innovation program to create a platform that goes beyond conventional IT matchmaking and instead creates accountability by understanding the expressed and latent requirements of the enterprise and the capacity of the innovator to service the requirement in a wholesome manner which might well be the model for future.
CoE DS&AI has launched a hackathon to source best-in-class algorithms to develop a prototype model along with provision to have API based integration with the NetwrkAI platform.
CoE DS&AI helps a Fortune 50 financial services organization create an innovative solution based on NLP.
During the analysis of company’s earnings call transcripts, some important aspects that might have been relevant to the company’s strategy or broader industry direction were usually overlooked, leading to missed opportunities to create value.
To address this issue, the Fortune 50 financial services organization sought CoE DS&AI’s help to explore AI based solutions. CoE DS&AI launched a hackathon to build a best-in-class NLP solution to address the above problem. The solutions have been proposed to the industry partner and the results are awaited.
