Simple idea of BPM engine
ELMA is a Business Process Management system. It allows shifting from instructions to automatic execution and processes monitoring and helps control the effectiveness of company’s activity.
ELMA is based on BPM engine that allows you to build flexible and adaptive information systems that can change quickly along with the company’s business processes. With ELMA you can sort out all the business processes in the company and make the execution of them more effective.
ELMA does not require programming to create even the most complex business process models. ELMA operates BPMN 2.0; it is widely used among business analysts and is an easy-to-understand platform at the executive level. Business process diagrams show how your processes and activities associate with one another. Simply drag and drop elements into a diagram and connect them according to the business process logic.
While designing the process model, you specify the data needed inside the business process. For example, the data the executor needs to complete a task.
Once the business process model is designed, it needs to be published. At that time, you are able to start executing the business process in the ELMA Web Application.
After a business process is designed and published, you can start executing it in the ELMA web application. The same models are used as a base and are executed independently; therefore, you can start several instances of a business process as needed and required.

In ELMA BPM each business process task has its own page which contains all the information you might need to make a decision and complete the task.
For example, you decided that the Approve the Leave Request task must be reassigned to the Chief Executive Officer instead of the HR Director (depending on your company’s organizational structure). With ELMA BPM you can change processes in the running system with no programming or stopping the server required, and apply changes instantly.
You can evaluate how effective the applied changes are, as soon as the process is complete.
