Baleària launches a new innovation project on AuraQuantic

The shipping company Baleària implemented the AuraQuantic platform for a new innovation project that involved the automation of 300 internal procedures, which include certificate management and issuance, route control, and emergency procedures.
The digitalization of all these procedures has improved the shipping company’s work methodology regarding its maritime operation development and the control of the vessels’ documentation. In this sense, AuraQuantic has helped to eliminate the manual tasks involving physical documents, control the validity of the vessels’ mandatory certificates to comply with current legislation, and obtain more precise information on the routes and estimated arrival times, and vessel fuel consumption.
AuraQuantic uses this innovation project as an example for all companies in the maritime sector, including companies dedicated to the transport of goods or passengers, fishing, shipbuilding, and ports and port services, to show how digitization provides an opportunity to achieve safer, connected, efficient and sustainable vessels. A development that involves the adoption of technologies with high strategic value such as Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), process automation, big data analysis, and cybersecurity.
