I have a database with several Aris 7.2 models (. adb). I tried opening it from Aris Cloud (Basic and Advance versions), and in both cases it tells me that the database is invalid. I tried exporting it as an image from Aris 7.2 to open it from Aris Express, I tried running macros and reports (JS) to export it to . bpmn, etc., but I still can't open it. Is there any way to do this? I have Aris 7.2 working, but I haven't been able to export anything that another updated version can open; for example, I couldn't export it to bpmn. Another option I've considered is using version 9.8, but I couldn't find it available for download, and I don't see any option to purchase a license or use a 9.8 trial, etc Thank you.

ARIS 7.2 is no longer supported- and I believe the same holds true for 9.8. ARIS is currently available in version 10 SR27. What you could try is to export the models as xml. file rather than as adb file. Make sure that you also have the right filter with the content.

The ARIS Administrator tool can migrate old databases from 7.1, I think you have the maintenance valid with Support, then you can open an incident via Empower and ask if is possible to migrate these databases for you.
You can ask to the Support Team to assign the incident for Me and I could try, just attached the databases there and the password of system user as well...
