An Introduction to Lean Thinking
The state of Washington’s employees and leaders are learning to adapt Lean thinking and tools to state government operations so that they can deliver more value to Washingtonians for generations to come. This video provides an initial introduction to Lean thinking and principles for Washington State employees – explaining what Lean is, how Lean works, waste in the office, flow, Lean versus traditional management, and the history of Lean. This video was developed by the Department of Revenue and generously shared with other state agencies to help spread Lean culture across government.
