Oracle Key Vault (OKV) provides key management for Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB databases, and Oracle GoldenGate. With Oracle Key Vault 21, we introduced C and Java SDKs so users could implement key management for custom applications and endpoints. OKV 21.4 introduced a new “non-extractable” attribute for symmetric keys. You might wonder, what are non-extractable keys, and when might I consider using them with an Oracle Database?
